This is my first time doing serious photography (I mean, actually trying to shoot things instead of just aiming randomly) with my new camera, and my first time shooting with a DSLR as opposed to a basic point-and-shoot. No post-processing or editing because it would take me til next year to photoshop all these pictures, so bear with me! 30 pictures, no warnings.

 Hi all! So basically I was invited to a conference in Malibu the 21st-23rd, and then it turned out that my CA relatives were visiting THEIR relatives (my aunt's sister) in LA that week, so after the conference I went to their house for a few days. Here's my first ever experience of a real Christmas!

i wake up to this cutie telling me she's cold, so we snuggle under my blanket. She's my 8-yr-old cousin Cami, and I hadn't seen her in two years before this visit!
